TESCO A NO GO

A squatted social centre in Bristol successfully resisted an attempt to evict the site to pave the way for yet another Tesco on Tuesday (9th). Around 30 people held firm against the bailiff hoards with the help of a 12ft tripod.

Meanwhile the new Tesco in Titnore got a warm community welcome as the shiny new facade was redecorated with graffiti saying “TESCO SUCKS” and “GO AWAY” while the locks were superglued shut. One person was arrested and is awaiting charges.
