GUERILLAS IN OUR MIDST

Dissident factions in Brighton have seized control of a derelict Esso petrol station on Lewes Rd. Raising the black flag they declared it a community garden. The first day of clearing, planting and painting took place on Sunday 10th May. The team cleared broken glass, rubbish and debris, painted concrete tubes (to-be plant pots), created a circular lawn in the centre of the ground and planted 11 giant pots of flowers and plants.

Regular days of further planting and maintenance are planned - check out http://lewesroadcommunitygarden.webs.com
