CRAP ARREST OF THE WEEK

FOR BEING AN ARTIST...

Paul in Belfast was recently stopped on the way to a mates house at 2am by bored coppers. Claiming that he ‘looked a bit suspicious’, they searched Paul and found a bag of paint markers. They then arrested him for ‘the possession of articles for the use in criminal damage with possible intent’ – eg despite absolutely no evidence they thought he was a graffiti artist. He was held for five hours, after which they let him go saying that they’d ‘run out of interview tapes’.
