MAINS STILL AT IT

The Mainshill Solidarity Camp may have been evicted last February (see SchNEWS 707), but you can’t keep a good direct action collective down.

In the wee hours of Monday morning, a band of pixies sabotaged two Catapillar D9Ts and 170 tonne earth scrapers at the now active mining site, rending them inoperable for the day.

The autonomous environmentalists behind the raid declared, “The only thing that has changed since the eviction of the Mainshill Solidarity Camp is that the machines on the site are bigger and more expensive.”
